The Bull City Woodshop is a youth centered organization that guides individual development, fosters community connection, and cultivates creativity through woodworking.

Founded in 2021 by Andrea Bowens, The Bull City Woodshop began as a small operation with a big vision—to create a space where young people could build, learn, and grow through woodworking. Starting with just a few students in her garage, the BCW has expanded into a fully equipped workshop educating class loads of students with the support of an amazing volunteer network. The BCW isn’t just about making things—it’s about mentorship, skill-building, and confidence. Students work on real projects, learn to use professional tools, and even have the opportunity to sell their work. With offerings including after-school classes, home-school programs, and adult workshops, the BCW is committed to making hands-on learning accessible to all.
