NCCADV leads the movement to end domestic violence in North Carolina. We are a Durham-based, statewide organization dedicated to strengthening the network of people serving survivors of intimate partner violence. NCCADV works with and for survivors, domestic violence agencies, allied professionals, and community partners to create a state safe for all and free from intimate partner violence.

Since 1981, NCCADV has supported quality services across the state that meet survivors’ needs. We make an impact at the local and state level by:

  • Addressing the root causes of intimate partner violence
  • Improving the services and systems that survivors access
  • Providing resources, technical assistance and training
  • Advocating for strong protections and support for all survivors

With Durham Softball League’s help, NCCADV can better support the individuals and agencies working to improve the services and systems affecting survivors in their communities and advocate for system and policy changes. Our programs include direct legal services for survivors who cannot otherwise afford legal advice or representation, child advocacy and services enhancement focusing on youth affected by domestic violence and teen dating violence.
