Registration for Durham Softball’s 2025 Spring Season
Welcome to the Durham Softball League! This is the page to register and pay your entry fee for Individual, Small Group, or Full Team participation in Durham Softball’s 2025 Spring Co-Ed Recreational Slow-Pitch Adult Softball League. Choose a non-profit sponsor to play for and sign up as an individual or group to raise money for their cause! On average, ~20% of all entry fees will be donated to local Durham non-profit organizations, so thank you for helping us support some great organizations by playing a game!
- Individual Registrations: $84.00 / player.

- Games will be played on Sundays at Pineywood Park Baseball Field.
- Games start between ~9:45am and ~5:15pm.
- Regular Season games will be 7 Innings or 55 minutes.
- Scheduled for 9 Regular Season Games + 1, 2, or 3 Playoff Games.
- End-of-Season Tournaments – Format based on total number of teams.
- Game Rules and PDF of the Durham Softball Rule Book (Will be updated / reviewed in February 2025).
- Spring Season: Begins March 16; Ends before June 29

- All players receive a team jersey, made by RDU Print Studio in Durham.

If you would be considered a “Free Agent” and are not required to play with a particular group of people, you should register as an individual.
- Choose Male or Female.
- Choose Jersey Size.
- Choose Team Sponsor Preferences.
- Add the Product to your Cart and Checkout.
If you are signing up as an individual and want to be matched with a specific player/friend/family member, you should sign up as a Small or Large Group. If you have 15 or more friends that want to play together, sign up as a Full Team. Details below.
If you have a group together already and you would like to play with a specific person, or group, of people, you may register as a group to ensure everyone stays together. If you have between 2 and 15 players who want to play together and need to join up with others to field a full team of 16 players, follow these steps:
- Take all the same steps for individual registration and repeat this for each person in your group.
- Add a unique Registration for each person to your Cart, so that each one represents a different person in your group.
- eg. “George and Fred need Large jerseys, so add +2 “Large” players in the Cart. Bill and Ted need a XL(ent) jerseys/journeys, so add +2 “XL” players in the Cart.”
- Checkout and purchase registrations at one time with your entire group added to one Cart.
- For 2-5 Players, use Coupon Code “SMALL2025” in your Cart to receive 4% off per player.
- For 6-15 Players, use Coupon Code “LARGE2025” in your Cart to receive 8% off per player.
- After you have paid, complete our Group Registration Form with the names, email addresses, and jersey sizes for your teammates.
If you want to sign up as a Group, one person in your group should add multiple Roster Spots to their Cart and pay for everyone at once. For example, if you have a group of 8 people who want to play together, one person should purchase 8 Roster Spots on the same order. Please add registrations “as if you were that player,” including the jersey size requested for all players on your team (eg. Add 1 Small + 2 Mediums + 3 Larges for 6 Players registering for the same team).
Please note your teammates’ names and email addresses on our Group Registration Form after you pay for your order. Team Assignments will always prioritize keeping groups together over playing for a specific team, so you will always get to play with your friends regardless of what charity you are assigned.
If you do not sign up on the same order as your friends, but still want to play with them, please email playncinc@gmail.com and complete our Group Registration Form with everyone in your group’s name.
Final Team Assignments will be made before Sunday, March 2, 2025, or ASAP after the final Spring registration deadline on Friday, February 28, 2025.
If you have an entire Softball Team (16-20 Players) ready to play and do not want Free Agents added to your team, you can sign up as a Full Team. Full Teams pay for 16 Players, but may add up to 20 Players to their roster.
- Take all the same steps for a Small Group Registration and repeat for each group member.
- Once you have added your 16th Player Registration, stop. You only need to pay for 16 of the 20 possible players on the roster.
- Add a unique Registration for each person to your Cart, so that each one represents a different person in your group.
- For 16+ Players, use Coupon Code “TEAM2025” in your Cart to receive 15% off per player.
- Complete the purchase at one time with your entire group added to one Cart.
- After you have paid, complete our Group Registration Form with the names, email addresses, and jersey sizes for up to 20 players.
Full teams may submit proposals for alternative jersey types, styles, and provide some design input for their team, within league restrictions.
- Shirt must still primarily match your team’s assigned jersey color. Slight variations are likely acceptable, but within limits.
- One single option must be chosen for the entire team. We cannot order/print multiple types of shirts for each team.
- Team agrees to pay any price differences associated with the style change. We will invoice you separately for any cost increases, likely ~$40-$80 extra, depending on your choices.

All teams must purchase new jerseys for Spring 2025.
Weekly Schedule
Games will be played on Sundays at Pineywood Park. The first game will start between 9:45am and 10:15am. The last game will start between 5:00pm and 5:30pm. Exact times will be determined before March and will be based on total registrations.

Refund Policy
We promise a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Because your refund will be reducing our Donation Pool, we hope you’ll give us a chance to fix any problems before it gets to that point. However, you can still request a refund for any reason. You will have to actually give a reason (so we can try to fix it for the next player), but any reason will be accepted. After the start of the season, prorated refunds will be honored if you are not satisfied with our league for any reason.
Softball Liability Waivers
All Players will be required to sign and complete this electronic form prior to playing games.
These forms will be emailed to you and your teammates once rosters have been determined. All players must complete the form prior to playing softball.
